Gertrude E. Hackbarth,85, formerly of Earlville, died Monday in Delaware County Memorial Care Center, Manchester. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial: Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Clifton Funeral Home.

Survivors include three sons, Harold of Dubuque, John of Cedar Rapids and Arthur of Manchester; and seven sisters, Edythe Binning and Elva Theobald, both of Pine Bluff, Wyo., Ethel Arnold of Manchester, Myrtle Honkomp of Benton, Wis., and Olive Kramer, Nellie Salow and Helen Hunt, all of Earlville.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
