EARLVILLE, Iowa - Dolores Marie Robinson, 77, of Earlville, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 8, 2002, at the Regional Medical Center, Manchester, after a struggle with cancer.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday the Earlville United Parish, with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Clifton Funeral Home, Earlville.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1924, south of Manchester, daughter of Herman and Dora Hawker.

She attended country school and graduated from Manchester High School.

She married Wilmer E. Robinson on Oct. 16, 1942, and they lived in the Earlville area all of their married lives.

Her family was very important to her. She held several offices in church groups at the Earlville United Parish where she was a member all of her married life. She also belonged to the Earlville Outlook Club and was noted for her excellent cooking and homemaking skills.

Surviving are her husband, Wilmer; two sons and a daughter, Richard (Debbie) Robinson, of Farmington, Maine, Duane (Judy) Robinson, of Earlville, and Gloria (Owen) Rentschler, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Orcutt, of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Pat Hawker, of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lamoine Hawker, and a brother-in-law, Elmer Orcutt.
