In June 1894, Mr. Young moved to Earlville, where the family has since made their home. While on the farm, Mr. Young united with the Methodist Episcopal church on the old Edgewood circuit.

November 5, 1887, he and his wife transferred their membership to the Almoral church and, thence, to the Earlville church, of which he continued to be a member to the day of his death.

Sawyer of Howard, S.D.; Mary of Ft. Dodge and John of Council Bluffs; one brother, James Young of Newcastle, Pa. and one sister, Mrs. Anna Warren of Akron, Ohio.
