Mrs. Joseph ( Mary ) Von Handorf of this city died unexpectedly at her home in east Dyersville on Tuesday, July 14, 1964. She was 65 years old.

Mrs Von Handorf was born at Horst, Germany, on September 15, 1898, the daughter of the late Frank Reeman and Bertha Kernbeck Reeman of Germany. She married Joseph Von Handorf on August 8th, 1922 at Essen, Germany. Some years after arriving in the United States the couple became U.S. citizens.

Mrs Von Handorf is survived by her mother Mrs. Reeman and a sister, both in Germany and an aunt, Mrs. Anna Knipper of Dyersville and numerous cousins.

Joseph Von Handorf preceded her in death.

The funeral will be held from the Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville to St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville on Friday, July 17, 1964 where a 10am Requiem High Mass will be offered.

Burial will be made in St. Francis Xavier cemetery.
