MANCHESTER, Iowa - Viola Margaret Engelken, 84, of Manchester, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Good Neighbor Home, Manchester.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Manchester. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, where the rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Engelken, of Manchester; five children, Ron (Gloria) Engelken, of Elko, Minn., Wayne (Janet) Engelken, of Greeley, Gary (Julie) Engelken, of Manchester, Elaine (Dan) Dunkel, of Covington, and Nancy (Mark) Recker, of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed (JoAnn) Loeffelholz, of Dyersville; her sister, Norma (Paul) Tegeler, of Dyersville; and two sisters-in-law, Anita Loeffelholz and Freida Loeffelholz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dean, in 2005; and three brothers, Arthur (MaryAnn), Walter and Donald Loeffelholz.
