Services for Mrs. Alver H. (Ardella M) Kluesner, 85, of 25125 Duschner Lane, Farley, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where the St. Joseph's Parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m., the wake service will be said at 6 p.m. and the American Legion service will be held at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Kluesner was born on May 22, 1906, in New Vienna, daughter of Antone and Bernadine (Ahrens) Klaus. She died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 1992 at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque.

She married Alver H. Kluesner on Jan. 24, 1927, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alice Harkness of Minneapolis; a son, James Kluesner of Farley; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ambrose "Richie" Klaus of Sun City, Ariz.; and three sisters, Abline Scherbring and Armella Lammers both of Dyersville, and Helen Goebel, of Luxemburg.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gerald "Jerry" Kluesner.

An Ardella M. Kluesner Memorial Fund has been established.
