SERVICES ON SATURDAY

Services for Mrs. John J. (Marianna J. ) Hermsen, 67, are planned on Saturday at 9 a. m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk . The Rev. John Hennessy, S. J., Chaplain of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital will officiate.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 76th and Center Streets, Omaha. Memorial may be directed to Birthright of Norfolk.

Visitation will be Friday, from 3-6 p.m., at the Home for Funerals and after 7 p.m. At St. Mary's Church where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Hermsen died Wednesday, June 16, 1993, at her home 2415 Westside Avenue.

She was born June 8, 1926, at Dyersville, Iowa, to Bernard and Erma (Stieber) Evers. She attended school at Dyersville and was graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in Dubuque, Iowa.

She married John J. Hermsen on June 28, 1947, at Dubuque. They lived in Omaha and O'Neill before moving to Norfolk.

Mrs. Hermsen was a member of the Sacred Heart-St. Mary's Catholic Parish, was active in church work and was a member of the funeral choir. She was also active in Birthright of Norfolk, belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary and assisted with meals on wheels.

Surviving are her husband; two sons and one daughter and their spouses, David and Julie Hermsen of Norfolk, Douglas and Lori Hermsen of [rest of obituary is lost]
