MRS. HERMAN WELTER

Cascade, Ia. – Oct. 13. SPECIAL: Mrs. Herman Welter, 37, of Sands Springs, Ia., died Sunday morning at 3 o’clock after a one year illness. Funeral services will be held at Monticello Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock.

Mrs. Welter, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Knapp of Cascade, was born March 28, 37 years ago in Cascade. Her marriage to Mr. Welter took place here in Feb.19, 1920. Surviving besides her husband are five children, Margaret, Mary, Herman Jr., William, Roman and Helen; three sister, Mary and Appolonia Knapp of Cascade; and six brothers, Michael of Omaha, Joseph of Humphrey, Neb., and Nicholas, William, Hillar and John of this vicinity.
