MISS HATTIE LIEB
Earlville Ia. – Oct. 13 – SPECIAL: Miss Hattie Lieb, 62 years of age, died at her home in Earlville at 10:30 o’clock Sunday morning.

Miss Lieb was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Lieb, old settlers in this part of the country, her father having died 15 years ago, while her mother passed away many years ago.
Miss Lieb had been in failing health since last March, suffering from heart trouble. However, she seemed better the last two weeks and her death came rather as a shock to her friends. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Queene V. Hornabrock, Chicago; Mrs. Susie Aldous, Charles City; and Mrs. Mary Jacobs, Earlville; also two brothers, Manelius Lieb of Nebraska and Oliver.

Miss Lieb had practically lived all her life in Earlville. Eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
