DEATHS IN DUBUQUELAND

MRS. JULIETTE BROWN

Manchester, Ia.--Special: Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Episcopal Church here Sunday afternoon at 8 o'clock for Mrs. Juliette Brown, 89, who died Friday at her home in West Manchester following an extended illness.

The pastor, the Rev. Thomas P. Shaffer, will be in charge. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery here.

As Juliette Traver she was born at Corbettsville, N.Y., June 1, 1848. In June, 1871, she was married at Berg Hill, O., to Walter Brown, Civil War veteran. They moved to Manchester the following year, living on a farm near here for a time. Later they moved to Manchester. Mr. Brown died here May 26, 1915. Three brothers and one sister also proceeded Mrs. Brown in death. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Two children born to the couple. Mrs. Gertrude Durey and Harry Brown, both of Manchester, survive along with eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
