The following dispatch was received late last evening:
DUBUQUE, June 26

Engine No. 157 broke through a culvert a quarter of a mile east of Masonville, between six and seven o’clock this evening. George Inglisbee, foreman of the coal depot, and a young man names Misseroll, both of Manchester, were riding on the engine tank at the time of the accident, and were caught between the cab and tank. The former was instantly killed, and the latter so badly injured that he died at nine o’clock. They got on the engine at Manchester to go to Masonville, expecting to return in a short time.

Inglisbee leaves a wife and three small children, who were entirely dependent upon him for support, Misseroll is nineteen years old. His father resides in Manchester.
