Vincent R. "Danny" Miller, 81, of Hopkinton passed away at University hospital in Iowa City Wednesday, June 6, following a stroke suffered two weeks previous.

Mr. Miller had recovered from injuries received in October when struck by a car near his home in Hopkinton.

Funeral services were held at the Goettsch funeral home in Hopkinton Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Matthews officiating. Burial was in the family lot in the Hopkinton cemetery.

Born at Hopkinton July 6, 1880, Mr. Miller spent all his life in Hopkinton and Delhi vicinity. He married Myrtle Frances Harris Feb. 26, 1920. Mrs. Miller passed away in 1924.

Surviving are one son Donald of Monticello and two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Verla) Harris and Dorothy Miller, both of Hopkinton and four grandchildren.
