William E. Miller of Fairmount Dies

Funeral Monday for Prominent Citizen

William Everett Miller, Fairmount,(ND) died at the St. Francis hospital in Breckenridge, (MN) Friday, Oct. 3, at 9:35 p.m., of heart trouble. He was a patient there for seven weeks.

W. E. Miller was born in Earlville, Iowa on Nov. 7, 1896, and moved to Fairmount with his parents when a small boy. He was married to Blanche Tweeter in St. Paul, (MN) Sept. 18, 1920.

He was a member of the St. Anthony church, the Fairmount fire department and the Woodman lodge. He operated a truck and transfer line in Fairmount since 1919.

He leaves his wife, two sons, William and Daniel, one daughter, Delores, all of Fairmount; his mother, Mrs. Julia Miller, two brothers David and Henry, of Fairmount, two sisters, Mrs. Laurette (should be Loretta) Albright and Mrs. Henry Strait, of South St. Paul. His father and infant daughter preceded him in death. He was buried Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Anthony's church. Father Bierens officiated. Interment was in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were John Shaw, R.J. Allen, G. Reubish, Tony Kolbeck, Ed Kurfirst, and Roy Zillgitt.
