“Wes Klaus” is Victim
Of Bad Accident”

Our popular merchant S. W. Klaus was the victim of a painful accident yesterday. While delivering near the Davey Crossing, his horse became frightened at the work train whistle and whirled and threw him out striking on his back and shoulders, the wheels of the buggy ran over his knee throwing it out of joint. He was considerably bruised, and his knee was badly sprained, but unless internal injuries develop, he will soon be able to do business at the old stand none the worse for the wear. “Wes” has lots of pluck and we think it will take more than a little spill from the old delivery wagon, to keep him down.
