Tuesday, September 4th, at the home of the bride’s parents, at the hour of three in the afternoon, occurred the marriage of Eugene E. Andrews to Miss Eleanor Hogan. Mr. Andrews was formerly of this city and is well-known and highly respected by a large circle of friends here among both old and young. Miss Hogan is one of Manchester’s most charming daughters, one who will be a helpmate to the man so fortunate as to have won her. Mr. and Mrs. Andrews departed Tuesday evening for their future home in Marshalltown. The wedding service was witnesses by the relatives and immediate friends only of the bride and groom, Rev. Father O’Meara performing the ceremony. The Democrat joins with a host of friends in wishing for the young bride and groom a life of prosperity and happiness, long in years and blessed with harmonious peace.
