Fire Damage P. M. Cloud House

Fire, which had its origin in sparks from the chimney, did a great deal of damage to the home of P. M. Cloud last Saturday morning. The entire roof of the dwelling was ruined, and rooms on the second floor were gutted by the flames. The greater part of the furnishings of the home on the first floor were taken from the building before the fireman turned on the two streams of water, but the furnishings in the rooms on the second floor were practically ruined by water and fire. The high winds fanned the flames and for a time it looked as if the entire building would be consumed by the flames. the Manchester Fire Department has again demonstrated its efficiency in fighting the fire on Saturday morning.
