Thursday morning at St. Joseph’s Church was solemnized the wedding of Miss Margaret Wiley of Greeley and Mr. Edward Tinker of Strawberry Point, Rev. Father Murtagh, officiating. Mrs. Irene Wiley sang Gonond’s “Ave Maria” accompanied by Miss Anna Schwartzentruber. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tinker sang “Melody of Love.” The bride was dressed in a pretty blue traveling suit and wore a corsage bouquet of pink and white sweet peas. Mrs. Wiley is one of Greeley’s most popular young ladies. The groom is a promising young farmer of Strawberry Point. They will live on a farm near Greeley. After the church service a scrumptious three course breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, about eighty guests being present. The bride and groom left for Cedar Rapids in the afternoon and will be home on their farm after March 1st. The many friends of Greeley extend congratulations and wish them long life and happiness.
