ICEMAN INJURED

Frank Slack has been laid up with a severely sprained back, as a result of a fall which he had while filling a refrigerator in the H. G. Utley restaurant. While Mr. Slack was lifting a cake of ice into the refrigerator he slipped and fell on a box, which stood near the refrigerator, and as he fell on the box the 150 pound cake of ice fell upon Mr. Slack’s chest, causing bruises which at first appeared to be of an exceedingly serious nature. Fortunately, no bones were broken. While yet unable to get about to any extent, his friends are pleased to learn that he is recovering from his injuries.
