Dubuque Daily Times, Saturday, Oct 21, 1871, Dubuque, IA Page 1

One day last week as a little boy nine years of age, son of J. Morrison, of Hopkinton, was out when his father was threshing; the boy went to cross the tumbling rod, when his clothes in someway got caught and brought him to the ground and stripped every inch of clothing from his body and put one of his thighs out place. A surgeon was called to set the joints and at last accounts the little fellow was getting along finely. So says a Hopkinton correspondent for the Manchester Union.
