Fred Schuman, mechanic in the Manchester Auto & Supply company’s’ machine shop, holds No. 258, the first number drawn in the army draft since last Friday. Mr. Schuman is a skilled mechanic and has been in the employ of the local company for a year. He was formerly employed as a mechanic in Waterloo. He and his wife are no living on West Howard Street in this city.
