HOEFER-EIKE
The marriage of Mr. Henry Eike and Miss Josie Hoefer was solemnized in SS. Peter & Paul Church at Petersburg Tuesday morning. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Sassen. The young couple were attended by Miss Mary Eike, a cousin of the groom as bridesmaid and Mr. Anton Hoefer was groomsman.

The bride’s wedding gown was a handsome one of white China silk, with veil. Her maid’s dress was of white lawn. A reception was given to relatives and friends during the day. The bride and groom are both favorably known and respected, two of the oldest families of the community. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hoefer and the groom is the son of Joseph Eike. They have a wide circle of friends who wish them happiness in their wedded life. They will reside near Petersburg.
