At Collins, Where Groom Has Large

Miss Ruth McIntosh , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McIntosh, and Mr. Charles Edwin Fish, will be united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, on East Main St. this (Wednesday) evening, July 16th, 1919 at 7:30 o’clock. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev. S. R. Beatty, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church of this city, in the presence of a large company of relatives and friends. Mr. F. B. Lingenfelter of Dondurant, Ia., will be best man, and Miss Juliette McIntosh, bridesmaid. Miss Lucille Hockaday, cousin of the bride, will be ring bearer.

A wedding dinner will be served immediately following the ceremony.

Miss McIntosh come from one of the pioneer families of Manchester. She is a young woman of unusual refinement, and is widely known and beloved by a wide circle of friends. She received her early education in the public schools of this city, and later completed her education with four years of work at the State College in Ames.

Mr. Fish is a well-to-do young farmer of Collins, Ia. He is also a graduate of the State College in Ames, and is an industrious and straight forward young man. He will take his bride to a beautiful home in Collins, and will supervise the work on a large farm lying just outside of the town.

Among the relatives and friends from away who are in the city to attend the wedding are Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fish, parents of the groom, living at Collins, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sokol of Collins, the latter being a sister of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gamble of Maxwell, Iowa; A. E. Berg of Emmetsburg, Iowa; Mrs. Francis Rogers of Spirit Lake, Iowa; Miss Juliette Pierce of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Charles P. Warren of Huron, South Dakota; Miss Grace Sloss of Ames; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil L. Adams of Ocheyedan, Iowa.

The heartiest good wishes of Manchester people generally will accompany Mr. Fish and his bride as they go to establish at home at Collins.
