John Mackey is one of the richest men in California. His income is put down at $831,000 a month or nearly $10,000,000 a year. The Manchester Press says: “Two sister of Mr. Mackey, named Carruthers, are now living in Delaware County, we believe in Prairie Township. They are in very comfortable circumstances, and Mr. Mackey shows his kindness of heart and brotherly feeling by often sending them valuable presents.
