The Manchester Press said: “Edward R. Jackson, son of LeRoy Jackson of Hopkinton, has just graduated at a medical college in Cincinnati, and will be ready to enter upon the practice of his profession in a few months. He has labored diligently as a student, and we doubt not will use the same diligence in his profession.” Mr. Jackson is a brother of Mrs. Samuel Calvin, formerly of Dubuque, and was, until he went away to college, a student with Dr. Hill, homeopathic physician of this place. He is a diligent student and a young man of excellent principals morally and has many friends here who hope, and predict him for a bright career.
