Sullivan, Isaac Newton, chief justice of the supreme court of Idaho, was born Nov. 3, 1848, in Delaware County, Iowa. He was educated in the public schools; and at Adrian College of Michigan. He soon attained success in the practice of law; and was engaged in the practice of that profession until 1890. He is a prominent member of the Republican party; and is identified with the business and public affairs of his state. He was the first chief justice of the state of Idaho; in 1890 drew the short term of two years; and in 1892, 1898 and 1904 was reelected to the Supreme bench. He has been on the bench for more than twenty years; and resides in Halley, Idaho.
