Ralph, a four year old son of E. R. Congar, of Manchester, was running about the house, Monday afternoon, playing with a short sharp stick, one end of which he was holding in his mouth, when he stumbled and fell, driving the sharp end into his mouth. A physician was sent for, but no serious results were apprehended till some hours afterwards when, it was found that his right side was completely paralyzed. On consultation the physician concluded that the paralysis was the result of some plaguing of some artery leading to his brain. The result at the date of publication of the Press, four days afterwards was still doubtful.
