THEODORE GOERDT, farmer, Sec. 20 ; P.O. Dyersville; born Oct. 15, 1824, in Germany; in 1850, came to Dubuque Co., where he has since lived; he owns 200 acres of land, part of which he entered. He has been President of the School Board and Director. Married Barbara Huter Sept. 3, 1850; she was born in Germany; they had thirteen children; six now living- Theodore, Elizabeth, Anna, Mary, Katie and Joseph. Catholic.
