CARMELITA L. BECK, 83, of 4820 Ingersoll Ave. died of a heart ailment at Fountain West Health Center. Services will be graveside at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grand River Cemetery.

Miss Beck was born in Grand River and lived in Des Moines for 60 years. She retired as executive secretary for the Standard Oil Co. and was a member of Grand River Methodist Church.

There are no immediate survivors.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until noon today at Dunn's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children.
