HOWARD – At Creston, Iowa, March 9, 1899, from abscess and blood poison, Mrs. Edna G. wife of Mr. Bryan R Howard and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon, of Davis City, Ia. Mr. and Mrs. Howard resided in Lamoni, three or four years ago, and lost one child here. They have since resided in Kansas City. She was visiting her brother Harry at Creston when she was taken sick and died. The body was brought to Davis City, where by her request before death, her funeral sermon was preached by Elder H.A. Stebbins by whom she had been baptized into the Reorganized church of Jesus Christ. Her age was 58 years (gravestone says 28 years)
