Edith King nee Teale died Feb. 21 of consumption and was buried Friday in the Davis City cemetery, Rev. E. C. Newland, of Promise City delivering the funeral sermon. What makes this an occasion of unusual sadness, she was the youngest and only remaining daughter at home with her father J. E. Teale. She was less than six months a bride. The coffin stood on the bier in the double doors of the parlor, on the same place she had stood a bride last August, the same minister officiating on both occasions.
