Services for Nellie M. White, 94, Lamoni, Iowa, formerly of Rock Island, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. She died Friday at Decatur County Hospital, Leon, Iowa.

Nellie M. Howard was born June 19, 1893 in Rockford. She married Lee A. White in August 1913 in Elgin, Iowa. He died in 1967.

She worked for the Rock Island Public Library and schools as a librarian for 24 years, retiring in 1952. She was an active member for 62 years at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rock Island, and was active in the women's group at the church.

Survivors include daughters, Marion Smith, Lamoni, Iowa, and Marjorie Willetts, Rock Island; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Spengler, Moline.
