LAMONI, Iowa, Johnnie Benton Salmon, 81, died Aug. 10, 1986, at a healthcare center in Lamoni.
He was a former resident of Pattonsburg, Mo. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lamoni.
Surviving are his wife, Mae Salmon of the home; five daughters, Wilma Dea Kromeich, Charles City, Iowa, Betty Thomas, Lamoni, Iowa, Avalie Cook, Kansas City, Mo., Mary Evelyn Barber, Belton, Mo., and Pauletta Salmon, Grandview, Mo.; a brother Emil Salmon, Pattonsburg, Mo.; a sister Lois Woodring, Pattonsburg, Mo.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the First Baptist Church in Lamoni. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Lamoni. The family will receive friends after 7 Wednesday evening at the Roberson-Polley Funeral Home in Bethany where friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday or after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Lamoni.
