The funeral services of Marion the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Doss McDowell, who died at Monticello, Iowa, on Tuesday of last week, were held at the home of James Ironsides in this city last Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. L. Boyd, pastor of the M. E. church, interment being in the Leon cemetery. The bereaved parents have the deep sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
