Beaconsfield.
Edna, a lover of life and of all those who lived it, was known as "Grandma"
to old and young, friends and relations, the poor and the rich, all of whom
will miss her ready smile, quick wit and cheery "hello."
Left to cherish her memory are: one daughter, Gertrude Nichols of
Kellerton; three grandchildren, Lloyd Nichols of Ottumwa, Iowa, Glen Nichols
of Grand River, Iowa, and Reba Judson of Rapid City, S. Dak.; eight
great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services, conducted by the Varner-Crew Services of Diagonal, were
held in the Christian church in Kellerton, June 8, 1964 at 2 pm, with Rev.
Elmer West officiating, assisted by Mrs. Cela Fugate. Music was furnished
by Phyllis Jones and Bernice Palmer, accompanied by Mrs. Louise Meadows.
Casket bearers were Bert, Claude, Clyde and Joseph Stogdill and Willard and
Gary Cundiff. Interment was in Maple Row cemetery in Kellerton.
