Woodland News.

A. VLERBORNE died suddenly of heart trouble Monday afternoon, June l, l896, at J.E. LENTZ's, one mile west of Woodland. The deceased was brought to the residence of WM. RAYN where he has made his home for the past six years and where one brother is now residing.

MR. VLERBORNE was an honorable, upright man, well respected by all who knew him, and a member of the A.C. Church. Several members of the Masonic fraternity from Garden Grove and this vicinity were in attendance at the burial services. REV. ROCK of Leon preached the funeral sermon, after which he was taken to the Lentz Cemetery followed by a large number of sorrowing friends.
