Edith Mary Williams Vinzant, daughter of Euell and Mary Barber Williams, was born in Mercer County, Mo., August 27,1894 and died July 15, 1967 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa, at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 18 days.

On January 17, 1910, she was united in marriage to Grover Cleveland Vinzant, who preceded her in death in November, 1960. To this union four children were born, Mrs. Donald (Clairetta) Watson, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Raymond (LaVerne) Zimmerman, Corydon; Carol Vinzant, Davenport; and Kermit Vinzant, Buffalo.

Edith was a member of the Lineville Baptist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted.

She was one of twelve children, eight of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sons-in-law, Donald and Raymond. Surviving are her four children; two daughters-in-law, Marge and Barbara; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Marolf, Clio; Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, Yakima, Wash.; and Raymond Williams, Mercer, Mo.; other relatives and friends.
