Francis is the daughter of Rosa Belle Gray and Zebulon Johntson Peterson. She was born in Grandriver, Iowa.
OBITUARY
FRANCES STEWART
Services will be held in Creston, Iowa, for Francis Maude Stewart, 92 of Oxnard.
She died in Oxnard hospital Saturday after a lenghty illness. She was an Oxnard resident for 10 years after moving to California from Creston, where she had served as postmistress for 14 years before retiring.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Royal Neighbors organization in Creston for 63 years.
She is survived by a daughter in Oxnard, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
The Conrad-Carroll Mortuary in Oxnard is arranging for the services to be held in Iowa.
