DIED.
STEARNS - At his home in Lamoni, Ia., Aug. 22, 1893, of cholera morbus, following a protracted period of general debility, Mr. Alexander H. Stearns. Deceased was born at Norfolk, St. Lawrence Co., N.Y., Aug 24, 1826, being at the time of his death, aged 66 years, 11 months and 28 days. Funeral services at the Brick Church August 22, the sermon being preached by Elder H. C. Smith. The remains were interred in the Rose Hill cemetery.
