WILLIAM GRAHAM, one of the well known farmers
residing near Grand River,
was found dead Sunday afternoon within one
hundred yards of the farm
house of Henry Hall. The discovery was made
by the children of Mr. Hall
who were out playing. The relatives were
called at once and Coroner
Layton at Leon notified. After learning all
he could of the case the
Coroner decided that an inquest was not
necessary.

MR. GRAHAM had left his home about nine
o'clock Sunday morning to go to
the home of his nephew, JIM GRAHAM, where he
expected to spend the day.
He was walking across the fields and when
near the Hall home the fatal
attack came upon him and he fell dead. No
one saw him fall and
consequently the body laid until discovered
by the Hall children that
afternoon. MR. GRAHAM was 59 years, 5 months
and 26 days old at the
time of his death. The funeral was held
Monday.
