BANDY - Luvica Holland was born in Peoria county, Illinois, on November 16, 1824. She was married to Pascal BANDY, March 10, 1842. To this union were born six daughters and two sons, one of whom, George, resides in Lamoni. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. SCOTT, at Bethany, Mo., Saturday, September 8, 1906. Her husband and three daughters preceded her to the life beyond. The deceased, with her companion, was baptized into the L. D. S. Church in 1842 at Henderson Grove, Ill., by Elder GOULD. The funeral was held at Blythedale, Monday, September 10, sermon by J. S. SNIVELY, prayer by Charles NEVILL, interment in Blythedale cemetery.
