George O. Johnson, for many years a teacher in Decatur county rural schools, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nora Sissel, in Bloomington township, Thursday of last week at the age of 75 years, 19 months, and 12 days. Funeral services were held at the Stewart Funeral Home in Leon last Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, burial following in the Leon cemetery, Rev. Rayhill, pastor of the M. E. church, conducted the services.
