Frank Smith “Bill” Bone II, age 76, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away March 3, 2018. He was born in Osceola, IA on March 21, 1941 to the late Boyd and Marie (Boling) Bone. Bill spent most of his youth on the family farm north of Grand River, IA. He worked for 33 years for Northwestern Bell before retiring in 1993. Bill enjoyed golfing, biking, fishing, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert L. Bone.

Bill is survived by his siblings, James G. Bone (Cathy), Dennis D. Bone, Connie J. Neely (Delbert); 5 nieces, Jane Stout (Stephen), Jacqueline Fitzgerald (Dan), Cheryl Bone, Kathelyn Rainwater (Chad), Allyson (Steven) Bone; 2 nephews, John Neely (Elizabeth), Christopher Bone; as well as 5 great nieces and 6 great nephews.

Kale Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
