ALMIRA HULL was born at Chillicothe, Iowa,
January l, l859, and passed
away at the home of her daughter, MRS. CLYDE
MARVIN, in Leon, Iowa,
Sunday, July ll, l9l5, aged 56 years, six
months and ten days.

She resided at Chillicothe, the place of her
birth for twenty years and
then became a resident of Kirkville where she
remained for l8 years.
She then returned to Chillicothe where her
home was made for about
eleven years. Seven years ago she came to
leon to make her home with
her daughter, MRS. ADA MARVIN, and husband.

She was married at Chillicothe, Iowa,
February l6, l879, to R.A.
WADDELL, who passed away twenty-six years ago
last March. Four children
were born to this union, three boys and one
girl, GEORGE WADDELL, of
Imperial, California; DR. J.C. WADDELL, of
Payton, Iowa; L.H. WADDELL,
of Alliance, Nebraska, and MRS. ADA MARVIN,
of Leon, Iowa, all of whom
were here to attend the funeral with the
exception of GEORGE, who was
unable to be present. She leaves four
grandchildren and four sisters.
The sisters are MRS. JOSEPHINE BUTIN, of
Fredonia, Kansas; MRS. FLORA
PARKS, of the same place; MRS. L.A. BLACKMAN,
of near Blockley, Iowa,
and MRS. JENNIE GARRIOTT, of Battle Creek,
Michigan.

MRS. WADDELL has been suffering from cancer
for some years and while her
death was not unexpected it comes as a great
shock to her relatives and
many friends. She was a true friend to all,
ever ready to extend a
helping hand to those in need. MRS. WADDELL
was loved by all who knew
her and her presence will be sorely misssed.

The remains were taken to Chillicothe,
Tuesday morning, July l3th, where
the funeral services were held that afternoon
from the Methodist
Episcopal Church and interment made in the
Chillicothe Cemetery.
