Glenrock, WyomingFuneral services were held Saturday, March 24 for Mrs. Harley (Sylvia Irene) Reeves,70, who died Monday in Phoenix, Arizona after she suffered a heart attack while visiting her son.
She married Harley Reeves on December 24, 1923. They moved to Wyoming and homesteaded north of Douglas and later moved to Glenrock where Reeves operated the Chevrolet agency. Following his retirement they moved to Casper.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Richard Watts of Casper; three sons, Carroll of Medicine Bow, Ross of Phoenix and Max of Great Falls, Montana; one stepson, Harry Reeves of Glenrock; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mildred Chew of Osceola, Iowa, and Mrs. Dorothy McCutheon of Glenwood Springs, Iowa. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Vera Glazebrook of Murray, Iowa and Mrs. Lola Swaim of Missouri. Other survivors include 22 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970, two sons, one stepson, one stepdaughter, two sisters and one brother.
[Interment was made at Douglas Park Cemetery, Douglas, Wyoming.]
