Services for Hazel Collins McGee, 81, were Monday, March 12 at 1 p.m. in the McColley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norm Brotzman of The Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial followed at the Lusk cemetery.

Mrs. McGee died Thursday, March 8 at the Weston County Memorial Hospital in Newcastle.

She was born July 17, 1902 at Mitchell, S. Dak., the daughter of George and Martha Street. She spent her early life in Iowa and Missouri. Hazel moved to a ranch on the Cheyenne River south of Newcastle in 1928 and resided there for most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd Collins of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Duwayne McGee of Lusk; one daughter, Dorene Darrow of Newcastle; one brother, Robert Street of St. Joseph, Mo.; one sister, Goldie Powell of Scottsbluff, Nebr., four grandchildren and one nephew.

Hazel's life has been an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
