DANIEL SULLIVAN, for many years a resident of
Decatur County, passed
away at the home of MR. and MRS. J.A. RECORD
Friday evening of last week
after a few hours of illness.

He had been in his usual health during the
day but was taken suddenly
ill about 5:30 Friday evening. Physicians
were quickly called and
everything possible done to save his life but
he steadily grew worse
until his death occurred about midnight.
Death the physicians state,
was due to hemorrhage of the brain.

MR. SULLIVAN was popular with all and had
many friends throughout the
county and southern Iowa. His death came as
a great shock to them. The
funeral services were held at the Catholic
Church southeast of Leon
Monday morning at ll o'clock, the services
being conducted by Father
McGillin, of Chariton. The bereaved children
and other relatives have
the sympathy of all.
