Obituary ~ Terry "Tim" Booth
September 16, 1946 ~ October 10, 2010Terry Tim BOOTH, son of Evelyn (ADAMS) BOOTH and Lloyd "Johnnie" BOOTH was born, September 16, 1946 in Osceola, Iowa. He passed from this life on October 10, 2010 at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, Iowa at the age of 64 years.
Tim lived with his family on a farm northeast of Hopeville until they moved to their farm northeast of Grand River. They raised 7500 turkeys and many head of cows. Tim enjoyed being a farmer and all the responsibilities that went along with it. He attended the one room Foland Country School until its closing when he went to Grand River to finish grade school. He graduated from Grand Valley High School in Kellerton.
Tim enjoyed helping with the turkeys, working with his dogs, "Rinny" and "King", filling the feeders for the cattle. At the age of 19 he began having epilipsy, with the help of Dr. BRENTON and many experimental drugs he fought it courageously.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd "Johnnie" BOOTH in 2006.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Evelyn and brother, Sam of Hopeville.
Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Kale Funeral Home, Osceola, Iowa. Interment at Hopeville Cemetery, Hopeville, Iowa.
