MRS. JENNIE BLACK GORDON, wife of BERT
GORDON, died at her home four
miles west of Lamoni on Wednesday of last
week after a protracted
illness. The funeral was held from the home
on Friday afternoon, the
tenth, and was attended by a large number of
neighbors and friends, Rev.
E.F. Partridge, Pastor of the M.E. Church,
officiating. Interment in
Rose Hill Cemetery.

Deceased was born in Norwalk, Iowa, February
5, l874. She was married
December 29, l89l, to BERT GORDON, who with
three children, LLOYD, FRED
and EARL, remain to mourn their loss. MRS.
GORDON had been a life-long
member of the M.E. Church, and leaves a host
of friends. The bereaved
family have the sympathy of all.
