J.F. BULLIS and wife, of Hopkins, Alberta,
Canada, who had been visiting
at various points in this part of Iowa, their
old home, stopped off in
Weldon Tuesday of this week for a visit at
the home of Mrs. Leta Smith,
in that place, and while on the way from the
depot to the Smith home,
MR. BULLIS dropped dead. Physicians were
quickly summoned but nothing
could be done as death had resulted.
Heart trouble was the cause of the death.
MR. BULLIS was seventy-two
years of age at the time of his death.

The body will be kept at Weldon until the
arrival of a son from Oklahoma
and the remains will then be taken to
northern Iowa for burial. The
deceased was a prominent Mason and also
active in the affairs of the
G.A.R. of which he was a member.
