Obituary ~ Nancy Sue Stone
March 21, 1953 - February 12, 2016Nancy Sue Stone, age 62, of Leon, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence LeRoy and Mary Elizabeth (Ryan), was born March 21, 1953, at home outside of Albia, Iowa. She passed from this life on February 12, 2016, at Westview Acres in Leon, Iowa.
Nancy grew up around Albia and attended school in Lovilia and Albia, Iowa. Nancy lived with her parents until their deaths, then she lived with Mildred Ellis in Lamoni, Iowa. She attended the R.L.D.S. Church with Mildred. She enjoyed attending country music shows. She always liked to help people. Nancy did water color painting and also enjoyed listening to country music.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Harold Stone and Howard Schuldt and wife Nancy; and brother-in-law, Eugene Hart. Survivors include her sister, Lena Hart of Leon, Iowa; brother, Marvin Stone of Leon; one nephew; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, with Pastor Rick Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the High Point Cemetery, High Point, Iowa.
